The Visayas is distinctly different from other provinces or regions in the Philippines, and the most spoken mother tongue in this nation is actually Cebuano. Of course Tagalog and English are also widely used, but the people of this middle region have some nuanced cultural uniqueness. Cebu is the hub of the region, part traditional, part sophisticated.
